Counselling services provided by State of Grace Counselling and Wellness are not covered by OHIP but may be covered by your extended health benefits through your insurance provider. 

 

Please contact your insurance provider prior to our first session to verify coverage for social work. Please note, we do not directly bill insurance companies and payment is required at the time of your session.

 

The social work services you receive at State of Grace Counselling and Wellness are considered a medical expense tax credit for income tax purposes. Fees not covered by your health benefits can be claimed when you file your income tax return.

State of Grace Counselling & Wellness requires at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations.  Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours and no shows will be charged the full session amount.
